As soon as Mariela (Rita Avila) approaches Billy’s (Kathryn Bernardo) house, Billy notices her appearing on the CCTV cameras. Prepared to respond in an emergency, Billy doesn’t hesitate to call the police, check on the sleeping Oliver (Migz Casimiro), and notify Aunt Precious (Dimples Romana).
Finding it difficult to identify the suspicious person, Billy courageously heads outside, armed with her pepper spray. While contacting the police for updates, Billy ends up meeting Mariela, who reassures Billy that she will not cause a commotion.
Billy immediately tells Mariela to leave, but Mariela holds onto the gate, acting innocently while insisting on conversing with Billy. At the right moment, Precious appears alongside Billy, though Mariela keeps on playing the victim, mentioning her estranged husband and deceased older daughter, making Bea (Maja Salvador) the only family she has left.
When Billy clarifies that Bea was actually the one who caused their conflicts, Mariela simply begs her to understand that Bea just wanted to become like her successful sister Abi (Karylle).
Billy elaborates further, arguing that it’s not about Bea pretending to anymore since she had ordered Caloy (McCoy de Leon) to hack LoveList’s system even before she applied for a job. Hearing this, Mariela yells not to suspect Bea of such crimes.
Precious comes forward, asking Mariela if she really knew her daughter, who instructed Caloy to infiltrate their home, resulting in Billy’s injuries. The second Precious insists that both Bea and Caloy should be imprisoned; Mariela labels her a liar.
Even with Mariela’s rage, Billy remains understanding while Precious teaches Mariela about the correct ways of parenting. Toward the end, Mariela speaks about Billy living a good life but failing to offer Bea the help she needs, even wanting her imprisoned. Defining Billy as heartless, Mariela takes off her wig, showing her burned head.
