The phenomenal tandem FranSeth has already lit up our TV screens with hit teleseryes and showcased their acting prowess on the big screen—never failing to captivate audiences with a chemistry we can’t stop gushing over. From kilig-filled dramas to heartfelt roles, they’ve proven time and again why fans continue to root for them both on and off screen.
Now, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin are venturing into short-form storytelling as they headline iWant’s Original microdrama series for the first time, “A Cake to Remember” —a bittersweet tale of love torn apart and memories forgotten.
Mandy and Landon's sweet beginnings
Francine breathes life into Mandy Morales, the charming baker behind Little Oven Pastry Shop. She’s engaged to Landon Cardenas, played by Seth, the son of a wealthy business tycoon. With their wedding fast approaching, the couple is ready to take their love story to the next chapter.
But trouble comes in the form of Cleo Parfan (Zabel Lamberth), a billionaire heiress determined to sabotage their romance. “Paghihiwalayin ko kayo!” she vows as she curses Mandy and Landon.
Cleo breaks down in tears when she realizes she has lost her chance at winning Landon’s heart. Still, her family and Landon’s mother insist on pairing the two together.
Yet despite the mounting pressure and his mother’s disapproval of their union, Landon refuses to waver—choosing Mandy and their dream wedding above all else.
Love crumbles like a broken recipe for Mandy and Landon
With FranSeth bringing their usual charm to the screen, fate suddenly takes a heartbreaking turn for their characters in Episode 3. Cleo’s relentless efforts to stop Landon and Mandy’s wedding appear to pay off when Landon gets into a car accident on his way to the ceremony.
With worry etched across her face, Mandy struggles to keep calm as Landon fails to show up and the wedding guests begin to leave. Holding on to hope, she receives a message from Landon confessing that he’s not truly in love with her. The revelation shatters Mandy, leaving her heartbroken and devastated.
That heartbreaking moment leaves a lasting impact on Mandy. Two years after the failed engagement, her bakeshop is struggling financially, while her father, Nestor (Epy Quizon), has been diagnosed with dementia—forcing Mandy to navigate one heartbreaking challenge after another.
Meanwhile, Landon is left struggling with amnesia after the accident, completely forgetting the memories he once shared with Mandy. But the story takes a shocking turn when he finds himself set to marry Cleo instead.
Can destiny rewrite a love erased by memory, or is Mandy’s place in Landon’s heart gone for good?
