At the dining table, Abi (Maja Salvador) and her mother, Mariela (Rita Avila), sit in silence for a little while. Mariela then flips through her photo album filled with pictures of Abi and her departed older sister until she eventually closes it while wiping her tears away.
As Abi prepares to find a job, she refuses to concede to Billy, confidently saying that she can become exactly like her. Abi classily dresses herself, gazing into the mirror while imagining herself as Billy, even putting on the red heels she had stolen from her.
After hearing about Abi’s claims of newly found employment, Mariela finds it difficult to believe, particularly since she would typically get word of Abi’s resignations. She continues to insult Abi, arguing that Abi won’t be as successful as her older sister, who was actually the real Abi, rather than Bea.
Bea then declares her intention of following in the footsteps of her late sister Abi in hopes that Mariela can finally be proud of her instead of complaining that she should’ve been the one who perished in the fire.
