Yeng Constantino took to social media to share a heartfelt message following the success of her two sold-out Biyaheng Bente concerts at the Big Dome in celebration of her 20th anniversary in the industry.
"Day 1 and Day 2, kamusta? Nakapahinga na ba kayo? Ako hindi pa! Hahaha 😆," she wrote. "Apat na oras lang ang tulog ko dahil ang puso at isip ko ay nasa Araneta Coliseum pa rin, kasama kayo! 😭" she posted on her Facebook page.
The singer shared that she had been going through messages and posts from concertgoers, saying the response filled her with joy.
"Grabe, nababasa ko ang mga messages, comments, at posts ninyo. Parang sasabog ang puso ko sa ligaya! 💕" she remarked.
Yeng also looked back on how the concert was conceptualized, revealing that her fans were at the heart of the show from the very beginning.
"When we were brainstorming about the concert, ang una naming inisip ay ang puso ninyo. From the first song to the last, kayo talaga ang priority namin! It was my 20th anniversary concert, pero para sa akin, gabi ninyo ang Biyaheng Bente," she relayed.
The "Hawak Kamay" hitmaker went on: "Gabi ng child in you na noon ay walang pambili ng ticket. Nung child in you na nag-aaral mag-gitara gamit ang songhits. Nung high school na kayo’y nagpa-cute dahil may crush! Gabi ng younger you na unang nasaktan sa pag-ibig at isinisigaw sa karaoke ang isa sa mga kanta ko. Kaya grabe na lang ang luha at saya ko sa bawat mensahe ninyo. 💕🤧 Ibig sabihin... mission accomplished!"
Yeng further expressed her gratitude to everyone who became part of the milestone, saying that she and her team wanted to give the audience the best possible experience.
"We really wanted to honor you by giving you the best show we could give. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na nadama ninyo yun! Thank you for singing along! Thank you for laughing and crying with me. Thank you for joining our trip down memory lane!" she stated.
Yeng added: "Kung kailan man o saang parte ng kwento ng buhay ninyo naging themesong ang musika ko — maraming, maraming salamat! Ito talaga ang pangarap ko. At kayo ang tumupad nito. Ika nga sa kanta ko, “AT KUNG MAUBOS ANG TINIG, ‘DI MAGSISISI, DAHIL IYONG NARINIG MULA SA LABI KONG, SALAMAT... SALAMAAAAAT!"
The singer concluded her message by reaffirming her commitment to continue creating music and using the platform her supporters have given her.
"I will never stop making music. I will never take for granted the platform you gave me. 🥹🙌🏼 It is an honor to sing and write for you! Mabuhay ang Musikang Pilipino! Mahal ko kayong lahat!" she said.
