MANILA — Taking inspiration from those who came before them, new p-pop group oona has finally entered the music scene to offer a fresh experience.
The group consists of Isaki, Coleen, Bella, Jaylou, and Kari, with each member bringing their own story, style, personality, and strength.
According to the group, the word "oona" means "be one," with the double "oo" representing their contrasting characters and voices — different yet balanced.
Committed not only to on-stage performance quality, but also to a fusion of artistry, authenticity, discipline, and growth, oona hopes to inspire others through their music, which is based on their personal stories.
To kick off, the p-pop group recently released their debut single, "DARAMA," which they composed and wrote themselves and was inspired by the feeling of kilig.
“What began as a simple emotion evolved into something more profound: a song about finding the right people, perseverance in the face of adversity, and making dreams come true,” oona said.
Inspired by their journey together, the song “captures that surreal moment when everything just feels natural and right.”
"DARAMA" is now available across all digital music platforms.
