Julie Andrews won a new Emmy Award for her work on Bridgerton.
The 90-year-old screen icon bagged the Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance award at the 2026 Emmys for her portrayal of Lady Whistledown in the hit Netflix series.
According to PEOPLE, Julie was not present at the awarding ceremony, with presenter Eric Bauza accepting the award on her behalf.
The win marks Julie's second consecutive victory in the category after also taking home the same award at the 2025 Emmys for her work on Bridgerton.
Set against the backdrop of the Regency era, Bridgerton follows the eight close-knit siblings of the noble and powerful Bridgerton family—Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth—as they navigate London high society in search of love amid friendships, rivalries, and scandals.
Julia lends her voice to Lady Whistledown, the mysterious society columnist whose scandal-filled writings chronicle the lives of London's elite.
The hit Netflix series is now in its fourth season.
Meanwhile, Julia recently revealed that she will not be returning as Queen Clarisse Renaldi in the upcoming third installment of The Princess Diaries.
"I think I probably passed… I think I’m retired, really, would be about the best description for that,” she said in an interview with InStyle.

She also shared that the film's creative team had approached her about reprising her beloved role.
“[The film’s creative team] asked me all last year if I would be keen to do it. It was very, very hard to say ‘no,’ but I did because I thought I had a wonderful ride, and this one I felt would flourish very well and wouldn’t need Granny going in there at my age," the screen icon stated.
Julie first starred in The Princess Diaries in 2001 alongside Anne Hathaway, who played Mia Thermopolis. She reprised her role as Queen Clarisse in the 2004 sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.
