The Manila concert of Kiwi singer Bic Runga, originally scheduled in October, has been cancelled, the event's promoter said Wednesday.
"We regret to inform you that the upcoming Bic Runga show on October 1, 2026 will unfortunately be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances," Midas Promotions said in a Facebook post.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to everyone who was looking forward to the show," it said.
Midas said SM Tickets would announce details on ticket refunds.
The concert was originally set to be staged at the SM Skydome in Quezon City.
Born Briolette Kah Bic Runga, the singer released her debut album "Drive" in 1997, which spawned her hit single "Sway."
In 2006, Runga was made a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her service to music.
In February, she released an album titled "Red Sunset."
