After going viral for her successful two-day concert and her special moment with It’s Showtime host Ryan Bang, OPM singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino shared that she and her husband, Yan Asuncion, are rooting for Ryan to find the right person and experience the love he deserves.

In a recent interview, Yeng shared that she watched a clip from It’s Showtime where Ryan opened up about his feelings after she surprised him with a song during her Biyangheng Bente concert.

And lahat po ng reason kung bakit niya po nagawa yung nagawa niya is he was coming from a good place. What a good man! And God hasperfect timing for everybody,” she added.

During the September 2 episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, Ryan became emotional as he recalled his previous attempt to pursue Yeng and wondered if he would still find someone who would give him a chance at love.

After watching the clip, Yeng said she and her team are praying for Ryan to finally meet the right person.

“He deserves to be loved, to be seen. He deserves all of that. Ako sa side ko, gusto ko po ipag-pray siya to meet that person na kaya ring ibigay yung kaya niyang ibigay. Grabe kasi yung capacity ni Ryan to love. Napakalaki ng puso niya. As in grabe siya magmahal talaga,” Yeng said.

Yeng also revealed that she and Yan talked about their trending story, with her husband understanding the host’s feelings.

(Sabi niya) ‘Alam mo kasi love may way ka kasi na nakakaano,’” the singer recalled.

She also shared that she and Ryan have talked through messages since the concert, allowing them to finally discuss things they were unable to talk about before.

“Ang maganda naman doon sa nangyari sa amin (ni Ryan) na we both see yung magagandang bagay sa pinagdaanan namin. So napagusapan namin through messages after the concert and even after days,” Yeng said. “He was able to also tell me things na before hindi namin napagusapan. I was thankful for Ryan’s vulnerability as well. Sobrang real niya.”

With Ryan now focused on his career and businesses, Yeng said she believes everything is falling into place for him.

“Asan ka na ba kasi? Bakit hindi ka pa dumating? Available na si Ryan!” Yeng quipped.

“Napakaganda ng heart ni Ryan and kaming mag-asawa ay we are rooting for him na dumating yung time (para sa kaniya). His businesses are thriving. Siguro si Lord bini-bless lahat ng nahahawakan ni Ryan, mga negosyo niya and alam ko sinisikap niya na and secure na siya,” she added.

Yeng also clarified that Yan never felt jealous over her past with Ryan, saying her husband was instead able to empathize with the host.

Although things are okay between them, Yeng admitted that she felt regret over bringing up memories from their past during her concert.

“I was being playful at nagtralalala in life.

Yeng said she immediately apologized to Ryan. “Nag-message ako. Grabe ang sorry ko sa kaniya. Napakahaba ng messages namin ni Ryan. Nagsorry po ako… I really apologize for triggering some memories or moments in life na I wasn’t very mindful also.”

Yeng held her concert, Biyaheng Bente, on August 28 and 29 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum to celebrate her 20th year in the entertainment industry.

One of the concert’s most talked-about moments was Yeng serenading Ryan with a cover of “Sabihin Mo Na,” where she recalled having a huge crush on the It’s Showtime host and eventually getting “seen-zoned.”

Yeng also thanked Ryan for finally giving her context about what happened between them. “Pero sobrang thank you na nilinaw mo rin ang istorya natin kasi that gave me a context na di naman pala ako pangit, na nagustuhan mo pa rin pala ako but it was not the right time,” the singer-songwriter said.
