College basketball player Chad Gammad was quick to debunk the rumors circulating on social media earlier this week that he and his girlfriend, Apple David, have broken up. In his Facebook account, the rising collegiate star shared that the rumors are nothing but fake news as they are still together.
Chad and Apple announced their relationship on social media earlier this year, which caught the attention of thousands of netizens. The two have been a hot topic on social media due to their age gap––the basketball player being more than a decade younger than the courtside reporter.

“Pake news po kung nagtataka kayo,” Chad wrote in his caption.
Apple also took to social media to deny the rumors with several posts. She humored her supporters as she shared the same screenshots her boyfriend shared on his account.
“Mainit-init pa 🔥😂 sana bukas preggy na,” Apple quipped.
Fans of the two lovebirds showed their support towards them in the comment section of their posts. Other netizens were hopeful that they will continue to strengthen their relationship and focus on themselves.
“Galitin mo sila lalo, trigger nanaman mga bashers mo hahaha,” a fan wrote.
“Congrats miss apple sana triplets agad para more kang basher more kang sasaya sa kanila,” another fan humored.

Just last August, Chad defended Apple from the negative comments under his post and questioned netizens for the hate that they’ve been giving her.
“Mag-isip-isip naman kayo bago kayo mag-comment o baka may sira talaga sa utak niyo,” Chad previously wrote.
Apple has already asserted in the past that no grooming happened in her relationship with the 18-year-old basketball player. She acknowledged how risky the relationship is. Despite this, she is hopeful that people would let them enjoy their time together as a couple.
“Of course walang masama kahit ipost ko pa lahat nung mga pictures namin. Love life ko yun at tsaka page ko yun eh. Pwede naman kayong mag unfollow, wag nalang kayong tumingin. O kaya, pumikit nalang kayo para hindi niyo makita. Hindi kayo maging uncomfortable or hindi kayo mabwiset,” she previously said.
