Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joj Agpangan is now a mother after welcoming her first child with husband Danny Fries.
Joj shared the milestone on Instagram on August 24, posting a series of photos that captured the couple’s moments with their newborn son as they lovingly carried him and held each other close.
“The sweetest chapter begins now. Welcome home, our sweet boy. ✨,” she wrote.
Joj and Danny named their baby boy John Evan Fries. While the couple did not disclose his exact date of birth, Joj revealed that she gave birth in July.
“Thank You God for everything.🤍,” she added.
The announcement was met with congratulatory messages from their friends and loved ones, who celebrated the couple as they begin their journey as first-time parents.
“Congratulations, Joj! ❤️ to the best and most fulfilling journey – motherhood,” content creator and fellow first-time mom Lottie Bie wrote.
“I’m beyond happy for you guys 😢❤️ CONGRATS 🎊 more babies to come!” another one added.
Behind the heartwarming photos was a birth experience that Joj described as one of the most physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding moments of her life.
Through her Instagram Stories, the new mom shared more glimpses of her time in the hospital last month. She revealed that she spent more than 60 hours in labor before finally welcoming her son.
“Got induced early. Two and a half days of labor. Over 60 hours that pushed me further physically, mentally, and emotionally than I ever knew I could go,” she shared. “It was raw, exhausting, and pure surrender but God gave me the strength for every single hour.”
After enduring the lengthy labor, Joj said becoming a mother opened her heart in a way she never expected, writing: “Motherhood has cracked my heart wide open in the best way possible. Forever grateful to God for this gift.”
Through the challenging journey, Joj also had Danny by her side, whom she described as her “absolute rock.”
“You held my hand through the hardest hours and never let me feel alone in it. Truly couldn't have crossed the finish line without you. I'm just so grateful to do this life with you,” she maintained in another photo with her husband.
Joj and Danny announced that they were expecting their first child in late March through a vlog. The couple tied the knot in September 2025.
