Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joj Agpangan recently held an intimate gender reveal celebration for her first child with husband Danny Fries.
On the YouTube channel she shares with her twin sister Jai, Joj documented the gathering, which included friends and family members sharing their guesses and messages for “Baby Maddie.”
“After all the cravings, old wives’ tales, body changes, and our predictions from our last video… we finally found out if Baby is a BOY or a GIRL 🥹,” said in the description.
“We take you with us during our intimate gender reveal party filled with love, surprises, and the sweetest secret video messages and gender predictions from our friends and family that made us so emotional. 🥺,” it added.
The couple’s close friends helped organize the event and kept the baby’s gender a surprise until the big reveal. Joj also prepared homemade dishes, including adobo and pancit, for the gathering.
Expressing her excitement before the reveal, the soon-to-be mom shared that she would be happy regardless of the baby’s gender.
“Any (gender). Either boy or girl, I’m gonna be so happy because I’m excited to be a mom,” she said.
Although many of their loved ones were in Manila, family members and friends still sent heartfelt video messages and predictions for the couple, who are currently based in the United States.
“Congrats in advance, Joj. Take care and Danny (too). We pray that you really have a safe delivery and for your love to progress for the rest of your life. God bless,” Joj’s parents said in the video.
Toward the end of the vlog, the couple finally revealed that they are expecting a baby boy after opening a box filled with blue balloons. ones.
“It feels amazing,” Danny happily said as Joj couldn't help but jump in glee.
On her Instagram page, Joj also shared her excitement about becoming a parent to a baby boy.
“From husband and wife to mom and dad to a little prince. Our hearts have never been this full. We can’t wait to hold you, our sweet boy. 🩵✨ So thankful for our friends who helped set up our gender reveal here in ATX! 🤍,” she wrote.

Joj first announced her pregnancy last March through a vlog, where she candidly opened up about her journey to motherhood. She revealed that she and Danny had previously sought help from a fertility clinic before eventually conceiving naturally.
“We’re pregnant! We’re gonna be mom and dad. This is like the biggest blessing –– we’ve been waiting for this one and we’re just so happy,” Joj shared. “We’ve been praying for this one. We went to a fertility clinic before. Unexpectedly, after a week of the fertility clinic –– they just advised us to maybe try this kit to know your ovulation –– we didn’t need that. After a week, I got pregnant.”
The couple has since affectionately nicknamed their baby “Maddie,” sharing that they believe the pregnancy happened during a memorable trip to New York City
