Actor turned pastor Edward Barber confirmed that he is now engaged to his non-showbiz partner. This revelation was made in public while he was talking in front of his church where he serves as a pastor in training.
The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate shared how he is now in an “awesome relationship” with his now fiancée, Rikki.

In the short clip that was uploaded on TikTok, Edward happily expressed how he used to be the “most single person” in their church and how his faith led him to his relationship now.
“From the last time I was here, I’m now in an awesome relationship… Don’t tell me that God is not real. I used to be the most single person in this place,” he said.
The presentation showed a glimpse of his fiancée, which had the churchgoers cheering. The former PBB housemate then went on to reveal their relationship status for the first time.
“This is not the point of the sermon. I have a point for showing you all this. This is not just my girlfriend, this is my fiancée Rikki,” he said. “I proposed… Naunahan niyo ako, okay lang. I proposed to her so she’s now my fiancée.”
Fans of Edward congratulated him in the comment section of the TikTok post, alongside saying how surprised they were with the update. Other netizens wished him and his fiancée well as they prepare to enter married life.

In a previous interview, Edward shared his reasons behind his decision to become a lay pastor. He explained how he felt certain that this is what he was called to do.
“My dream job is in ministry, like my dream job is somebody who's called a lay pastor. I really found what I believe I'm here on this Earth to do. And I know without a doubt, I've stood and people they look at what I'm doing and like, 'You are wasting your career away.' Remember they were trying to convince me to [do] more in the industry but I'm like, at the end of my life, I am not going to stand before God and be like, 'Look at all the projects I did.' He's going to ask me: 'What did you do?' And I'm going to be like, 'I serve You. I knew You,' that's where I feel like I'm supposed to be," he shared.
