Veteran talent manager and host Boy Abunda expressed his happiness at seeing one of his good friends, Kris Aquino, back on screen. On his show earlier this week, the King of Talk said he was proud to see the comeback of the Philippines’ Queen of All Media.
Boy worked with Kris for several years and even visited her when she was getting treatment in the United States several years ago. The two previously hosted the Kapamilya shows Aquino & Abunda Tonight, Boy & Kris, The Buzz, and SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon, among others.

“Ang aking kaibigan Kris Aquino is back on screen. Nagbalik-trabaho si Kris para isang promotional campaign for Netflix. Napanood na natin ‘to–– yung hindi pa nakakapanood, hanapin niyo po,” Boy expressed.
“Ito ang kanyang first project mula nang nagpahinga siya from showbiz para magpagamot sa kanyang autoimmune diseases,” Boy added.
As she slowly makes her return, the Kapuso host expresses how happy and excited he is to see more of his good friend on television again.
“It’s great to see Kris doing what she loves the most. Proud of you Krissy at maraming maraming salamat,” Boy ended.

Kris recently made headlines after appearing in one of the promotional videos of Netflix Philippines where she acted as the Chief Head of Insight and Kontent Analysis (C.H.I.K.A). Friends and fans of the showbiz icon were quick to express how refreshing it was to see her be in front of the cameras once more.
Previously, entertainment vlogger Mama Loi shared a quick behind-the-scenes look at the Netflix promotional campaign, which Kris took part in. The Queen of All Media was visibly excited to be back, but Mama Loi revealed the challenges the former had to endure during the shoot.
“During the shoot, I saw how hard it was for her because yung rheumatoid arthritis talagang namamaga 'yung legs and pati 'yung buto. I felt yung pag-usli nung mismong buto on her knees na namamaga," she said.
Despite this, Kris showed her professionalism as she never showed the pain that she was feeling–– making sure she put on a quality performance above all else.
