Kris Aquino and her sons Josh and Bimby shared a heartwarming reunion with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos as they joined her for an early birthday celebration.
The Queen of All Media, together with her two sons, visited the First Lady ahead of her birthday on August 21 and brought three cakes for the occasion.
“Thank you Kris, Josh & Bimby for the lovely advanced birthday cakes! 🎂 🍰🥹💕Such a thoughtful surprise that truly warmed my heart. Feeling very blessed. ❤️✨,” Liza wrote in a Facebook post on August 9.
The First Lady shared a photo from their reunion, where Josh could be seen embracing her from behind while Kris and Bimby stood beside them.
The latest gathering marks another public interaction between the Aquino and Marcos families, whose names have long been associated as opposing political sides in Philippine history.
Despite the political history surrounding their families, Kris and Liza share a familial connection.
The First Lady's aunt, Rosario Cacho, was married to Pedro Cojuangco, the eldest brother of Kris's mother, the late President Corazon "Cory" C. Aquino.

In March, Kris had a belated 55th birthday lunch with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza at Malacañang Palace. The gathering, held at Bahay Pangulo, was organized by fashion designer Michael Leyva, a close friend of both Kris and the First Lady.
The two women also previously spent time together in 2025 during a birthday celebration for the fashion designer.

In July 2024, Josh and Bimby visited the First Lady and even brought her gifts from an overseas trip.
The latest reunion also comes as Kris continues her gradual return to the public eye following several years away from the spotlight.

Just this August, the Queen of All Media made her much-awaited on-screen comeback through Netflix Philippines, where she took on the playful role of C.H.I.K.A. or Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis for a three-part promotional campaign.
Her return has since sparked excitement among fans, who continue to celebrate seeing more of Kris and her signature personality in public appearances and new projects.
