Cardiologist and internet personality Doc Willie Ong gave his followers a quick update about his battle with cancer. In his Instagram post, he shared that he is continuing his treatment plan made by his medical team and is in a stable condition at the moment.
Doc Willie was diagnosed with stage 4 Sarcoma and publicly disclosed his condition back in 2024. He was set to run for the 2025 midterm elections but withdrew to prioritize his health and healing process.

According to Cleveland Clinic, sarcoma is a rare type of cancerous tumor which develops in bone and connective tissue. Its treatment plan includes surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
“Kamusta sa lahat ng mahal kong Followers. Stable ang condition ko (Sarcoma stage 4), tinutuloy ko ang maintenance na gamutan sa akin na Immunotherapy at Targeted Therapy,” he said in the caption.
In his post, the doctor-vlogger can be seen sitting down and a tube inserted into his body. While he didn’t disclose any more details about his treatment, he expressed his gratitude to everyone who’s been praying for him to get better.
“Minsan good news, minsan meron bad news, bahala na ang Diyos sa buhay ko. I love you all very much❤️Maraming Salamat sa mga prayers ninyo para sa akin,” he ended.
His followers sent their well wishes and heartwarming messages in the comments section of his post. Other netizens are hopeful that he will be able to overcome and win his battle against cancer.

Previously, Doc Willie shared that he received help from his doctor in Singapore and his cancer has been stable.
“Walang makasasabi gaano kahaba ang buhay natin. Pero masaya na ako sa 8 months na bigay ng Diyos para makasama ang pamilya at mga followers ko,” he previously said.
