Actor Aljon Mendoza shared that he has parted ways with his talent management, Star Magic, after seven years. As a new chapter of his showbiz career begins, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate expressed his gratitude towards the lessons he had under his former management.
“Yes po, wala na po ako sa Star Magic,” he revealed.
Aljon explained how he had an offer with another talent management back in 2025, but was unable to move due to the existing contract he had with Star Magic, which was set to expire this year.
“Ang nangyari po ay last year, may offer sa akin ang Viva at humiling po ako sa Star Magic na magpa-release. Pero hindi po ako napagbigyan,” he explained.
The It’s Okay to Not Be Okay actor maintained that he understood the management's decision and continued to be their artist until last month.
“Naiintindihan ko po yon at iginagalang ko ang kontrata na meron ako. Originally, November this year pa matatapos ang contract ko. Pero nitong March, ni-release po ako,” Aljon expressed.
Despite being released early, the former Star Magic talent said that he will be grateful to his previous management and ABS-CBN for the several projects he had throughout the seven years.
“Ganoon pa man po, nagpapasalamat ako sa ABS-CBN and Star Magic dahil sa kanila ako nagsimula at binigyan nila ako ng mga proyekto. Nakapag-provide din ako sa family ko because of them. Lahat po ng mga natutunan ko sa kanila, bibitbitin ko as I move forward to the next chapter of my life,” he maintained.

Apart from being an actor, Aljon is also prioritizing finishing his academics. He is currently enrolled at the Philippine Women’s University, where he’s taking up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management degree.
