After months of keeping her child’s face hidden, social media content creator Bea Borres has finally given the public a glimpse of her daughter, Victoria Hope, whom she nicknamed Hopea.

Bea first announced the birth of her baby in late January, revealing that she had finally brought her daughter home after 44 days from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) following her delivery in December. For months, Bea was careful to cover Hopea’s face in every post, prioritizing her child’s safety while online audiences respected her decision.

However, on March 20, netizens were surprised as Bea shared close-up photos of Hopea, revealing her face as she peacefully slept in her arms.

“I’m really really scared to post her pictures online, but her face is too beautiful to not share 🥺 i love you, Pea ang ganda ganda mo 🥺🤍,” she wrote.

Posting her baby’s face for the first time, Bea asked the public for kindness, writing: “a lot of people assume that I’m embarrassed of how she looks, but the truth is I’m just afraid of how cruel the online world is 🙏🏻 please be kind 🙏🏻🧿”

Fans and fellow content creators were quick to welcome Hopea in the comment section. Other netizens appreciated the little girl’s features, with some even noticing a resemblance to actor Daniel Padilla during his childhood.

“Finally 😍 So beautiful baby pea i love you 🥹🩷,” fellow content creator Zeinab Harake Parks wrote.

“Yes, I thought it was baby Daniel Padilla hehe ..so cute and cuddly baby pea 🥰,” one netizen wrote.

“Is it me? Or she looks like baby Daniel Padilla? Ganda ganda 😍❤️❤️,” another added.

Bea’s cautious approach to sharing her baby's photos online stems from prior negative experiences. When she first posted pictures of her newborn while keeping her face covered, she received hurtful comments from strangers online saying that Bea was ashamed of her child’s appearance since she did not reveal her face.

“Halatang baby is chaka lol,” the netizen commented.

Bea responded firmly to protect her daughter, emphasizing that only close family and friends were allowed to see Hopea’s face before this public reveal.

“Not even 24 hours after my post, yet Pea already has a basher. To my family and friends who have received pictures of my Hope, u know who you are. Ikalat niyo na lahat ng baho ko, but not pictures of my baby,” Bea wrote.

“May we all have hope for this new year, but for now, this Hope is just mine. ty for all your blessings and good wishes.”

Earlier this month, Bea also launched her baby care brand Peaboo Baby, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a single mother. During the debut, she talked to ABS-CBN News about the challenges of solo parenting, admitting the emotional toll of caring for a newborn.

“It’s so hard kasi sometimes my baby would cry. And I don’t know what to do. Hindi ko alam kung nasasaktan siya or kung may nangyayari na ba sa kanya. I just want to take all her pain away,” she said.

Known for her candidness about single motherhood, Bea offered advice to aspiring single moms, saying: “Bago kayo maging single mom — sorry ha pero ang totoo talaga ay life is so hard — dapat talaga ay may pera kayo.”

“Before you guys do anything, make sure na may pera kayo. Hindi mo masasabi kung kailan ka mabubuntis.”

Reflecting on her parenting style, Bea said she prioritizes her own well-being to ensure she can care for her child effectively. She also shared that she envisions herself as a strict but loving mom.

“Lagi mo talagang uunahin ‘yung self mo. Unahin ang self. Always put yourself first. Kakayanin n’yo ‘yan. And always have a mindset na, ‘God will always provide.’ Kasi nariyan na, eh. Just be strong.”

“Nakikita ko na kasi na may pagka-strict ako. I want her to be independent. Sinasabi ko talaga na, ‘No.’ Some parents ay natatakot na mag-no. Ako, hindi talaga. Magno-no talaga,” Bea continued.
