Actors and brothers Eric and Epy Quizon took to social media to commemorate the 13th death anniversary of their father, the Philippines’ Comedy King, Dolphy.
On Instagram, Eric shared a video of their visit to Dolphy’s grave, where they were joined by Kapamilya singer-actress and Dolphy’s longtime partner, Zsa Zsa Padilla, who was seen cleaning and decorating the mausoleum.
“Our Dad's 13th death anniversary. As usual , @zsazsapadilla cleaning Dad's puntod and the beautiful flower arrangement. Zsa Zsa wants the open mausoleum camera ready,” Eric wrote.
He added, “Dad, You will always be remembered. #dolphy #dad #quizon.”
In the video, Eric affectionately teased Zsa Zsa as she meticulously cleaned the tomb.
“Actually naka-hire kami ng cleaner. Nilinis niya oh,” he joked, panning the camera to a laughing Zsa Zsa.
Epy was then heard asking, “Ano ba mayroon ngayon, guys?
Eric answered,” It’s the death anniversary of our Dad. 13 years na.”
Epy then mused, “Happy death anniversary ba tawag doon? Happy kasi siya doon eh.”
To which Zsa Zsa replied, “He is happy in paradise”
Eric added, “Hope you are happy in paradise. It’s your death anniversary.”
Eric also shared a clip of Dolphy’s tomb, proudly showing off its pristine condition.
“Wow ang linis na. Camera ready na sabi ni Zsa Zsa,” he said.
Aside from the compiled clips, Eric included photos of Zsa Zsa cleaning the grave and a special moment with Filipino puppeteer and ventriloquist Wanlu Lunaria, who brought with him a marionette of Dolphy.
“At may kasama rin kami rito, nandito siya ngayon. Ayan si Wanlu,” Eric said, introducing Wanlu’s marionette of Dolphy.
In a separate video posted on Wanlu’s page, the puppeteer shared that he officially turned over the Dolphy marionette to the Quizon family.
“Ako po si Wanlu po and nandito po ako kay tito Dolphy (na libingan). Today is July 10, 2025 and ngayon ko po itu-turn over itong Dolphy marionette para sa kanilang Dolphy museum,” he shared.
Wanlu added that the puppet was purchased by the family, specifically by Eric Quizon, as part of the upcoming Dolphy Museum.
“Ito po ay binili sa akin ng kanilang pamilya, specifically ni Direk Eric Quizon,” he said. “Malungkot man (na magpaalam) pero para talaga sa kanila ito.”
He also posted one final skit featuring the Dolphy puppet, where he translated the lyrics of the iconic song “Handog” by Florante. He captioned the video: “Remembering the Comedy King- Dolphy on his death anniversary.”
Meanwhile, Zsa Zsa paid tribute to her late partner on her own social media page.
“Remembering you today, Dolphy, on your 13th death anniversary. Thank you for the laughter, the love, and all the beautiful memories you’ve left behind. You live on in our hearts and in the joy you brought to millions. 💕🙏🏼🎭,” she wrote.
