Kapamilya star Rufa Mae Quinto marked her 9th wedding anniversary with late husband, Trevor Magallanes, on November 26. On her Threads account, the actress and comedian shared the same day edit (SDE) video of their special day.

Rufa also made sure to greet Trevor a happy birthday as well.
“It’s our wedding anniversary my love ! Happy birthday also 💚💜❤️ mahal kita,” she wrote.
The Your Face Sounds Familiar contestant took a trip down memory lane as she linked the SDE video to her post. In the five minute video, a glimpse of Rufa and Trevor’s vows were shared to the public.
“I always prayed to have a family of my own. It’s a dream and now it’s a reality. Yes, my dreams came true–– you gave your life, your surname, sir and the greatest love of all, your love, and your fruit of love, our little one,” Rufa shared.
“I know that you said that I sacrificed a lot for you but really, it was all worth it and it was the best decision that I’ve ever made. I promise that I will be the best husband that you deserve and I can be the best person to take care of our family. I just want to make sure that you’re happy for the rest of your life,” Trevor vowed then.
Over the almost nine years of marriage, the couple were faced with several challenges which included some misunderstandings leading to the two almost separating. Rufa maintained that no one filed for divorce despite the previous claim of Trevor on his Instagram account.

“Yung legalities, walang file ng divorce. Walang nag file. Hindi ako mag fifile kasi andami ko ng file sa kaso. Ayoko muna mag file sa divorce kasi dito rin naman kami kinasal sa Pilipinas. Di ko na rin alam ano gagawin masyadong masakit pa. May anak din kami,” Rufa previously shared.
In the same year of their challenges as a couple, Trevor passed away due to natural causes on July 31. Prior to his death, Rufa Mae claimed that they had patched things up and was grateful for her late husband as he put the needs of their daughter first.
“Nagtatrabaho siya–– nag pulis siya para magkaroon ng benefit. Pagkatanda ni Athena, meron siyang pangaral. Si Trev nag plano siya ng maganda para sa amin na hanggang 100 years old ang anak ko, maalagaan siya,” she previously explained.
