MANILA — There is a new squad ready to spice up Spikers’ Turf.
The Clearskiiin UV Smashers have been launched as the newest Spikers’ Turf squad on Friday at Seda BGC in Taguig City, set to debut in the upcoming 2026 Invitational Conference.
The UV Smashers will be Savouge Spin Doctors’ sister team, both founded by owner Sydney Calderon, and the men’s volleyball league’s seventh squad.

Bannering the UV Smashers are co-captains Louis Gamban and JM Ronquillo, joined by libero Rick Adao, middle blockers KC Andrade, Jester Noel Bornel, and Charlee Magpayo, opposite spiker Jay Rack de la Noche, and outside spiker Renzel Antonio.

Steering the wheel on playmaking are John Michael Paglaon and Kim Harold Dayandante. Also in the team are outside spikers Edward Composano, Ruvince Abrot, and Angela Gayud, as well as middle blocker Nas Gwaza and liberos Robert Zulueta Flores and Bhim Diones.
Joe Bangit, a volleyball tactician from the United States, will be supervising the team alongside coaches Sandy Montero, Peter Torres, and John Pagtalunan.
"We're not entering this league just to participate. I'm going to say this right now — we are not here just as another team. We are going to compete every single time. I can promise you that," said Bangit.
