BUSAN, South Korea — Three Filipino VALORANT players are ready to rep the flag in the upcoming VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, China.

The total Pinoy representation has increased to three, as Global Esports (GE)—the Indian organization that houses Filipino players Xavier “xavi8k” Juan and Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza—has qualified for the tournament after T1’s win over VARREL in the lower bracket semifinals of the VCT Pacific: Stage 2, Friday at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium here.

It was a fortunate result for the two Filipinos and the squad, as they had actually absorbed a 2-1 loss earlier in the day against NS RedForce in the tournament which has Acer Predator as its PC partner.

Adrian “invy” Reyes of Paper Rex completes the Pinoy trio, as his squad was the first team to qualify through championship points.

Debuting at this year’s Champions are invy and xavi8k, while PatMen is in his second straight appearance, previously competing with Paper Rex in 2025.

This also marks GE’s first-ever Champions qualification.
