MANILA — More than just the computer game.

Dota 2 community LuponWXC and esports organization Team Nemesis extended relief to the victims of the powerful magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Cebu.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, "KuyaNic," whose real name is Nico Nazario, shared how their help reached the province, giving credit to the PNPA Lakandula Class of 2015 which made it possible.

Nazario said the funding came from the sales of their bundle during The International 2025.

"Daghang Salamat to our community!" he said. "With your support of the LuponWXC Bundle during The International 2025, we were able to extend our community’s care beyond the game and reach our kababayans in Cebu. This was all possible because of YOU. GGWP to everyone who stood with us both in-game and in life!"

"Special thanks to the PNPA LAKANDULA Class of 2015, led by Major Grande, for their help in making this initiative possible," he added.

Team Nemesis gave a monetary donation amounting to P250,000 to volunteers leading a relief operation in Northern Cebu.

"We hope that everyone in the Philippines stays safe during these times," the team said on Facebook, sharing a volunteer's post thanking the squad.
