MANILA — UST Growling Tigresses head coach Haydee Ong was dealt a one-game suspension after acquiring two technical fouls in the UAAP Season 88 women's basketball tournament.
Ong will be sitting out UST women's game against Ateneo Blue Eagles on Saturday, November 15, at the Araneta Coliseum, where the team stakes its 11-0 perfect record.

During their encounter against UE Lady Red Warriors on Wednesday, Ong was handed a technical foul due to "continuous complaining about a call" — her second in the tourney
According to the Commissioner's Office, Ong's "conduct exceeded acceptable boundaries," which warranted the technical foul.
Ong already committed a technical foul elimination round last October 12 during the España cagers' game against Ateneo.
She was reminded of her conduct through a stern letter.
