MANILA — Kacey dela Rosa of Ateneo de Manila University is leading the statistical points (SP) race after the first round of the UAAP Season 88 collegiate women's basketball tournament.
The two-time MVP has garnered 96.571 SPs after having averages of 17.57 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.86 assists, 2.43 blocks, and 1.71 steals per game.
Due to her dominant performance, the Blue Eagles are currently 5-2 in the women's hoops.
Behind Dela Rosa is National University's Ann Pingol had 89.571 SPs after having 15.0 points, 9.14 rebounds, 3.86 assists, and 3.43 steals, and fellow Lady Bulldog Tin Cayabyab had 81.857 SPs as she had 18.14 points, 5.29 rebounds, 2.86 assists, and 3.14 steals per contest.
University of Santo Tomas’ Kent Pastrana helped the Growling Tigresses achieve a 7-0 clean record, thanks to her 13.0 points, 6.43 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per match, achieving 79.857 SPs.
Meanwhile, Shemaiah Abatayo of Far Eastern University completed the top five, who had 69.0 SPs after delivering averages of 14.86 points, 5.71 rebounds, 4.57 assists, and 1.71 steals.
UST's Brig Santos and Oma Onianwa had 65.714 SPs and 62.714 SPs, respectively, Aloha Betanio of NU had 62.286 SPs, Eka Soriano of UST had 61.6, as FEU's Amyah Espanol rounded out the top 10 with 61.571 SPs.
