MANILA — The Senate Impeachment Court hearing the trial of Vice President Sara Duterte issued show-cause orders to members of the House prosecution panel on Wednesday.
The court's presiding officer Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero said the orders were issued for potential violation of the sub judice rule, which prohibits parties from discussing merits of the case/
"The clerk of court has been directed to serve the service of the show-cause orders after trial," Escudero said.
