MANILA -- The Nepal Tourism Board reported a total of 644 travelers, including one from the Philippines, missing from in the Bhote Koshi River flash flood as of August 27, Thursday.
The tourism board said this number includes 127 travelers from Nepal, 178 from India, 25 from Canada, 35 from Australia, 65 from the USA, 51 from Malaysia, and 53 from Ukraine.
Travelers from other countries, including one from the Philippines, were also reported missing.
Malacañang earlier said there were no reported Filipino casualties in the deadly flash floods and landslides that killed at least 165 and swept away entire villages on the Nepal-Tibet border.
