MANILA -- Queen Elizabeth “Queenie” Pacquiao, the second-youngest child of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao, is closing one chapter and opening several more at once — and she’s taking it all in stride.
The 17-year-old recently graduated from Brent International School Manila, while she is off to study forensic science in Loyola University in Chicago.
“It’s bittersweet, of course. Like, I’m gonna miss my friends and everything. But, you know, I’m excited for college,” she said.
Queenie attended Brent since kindergarten. Among her most cherished memories is her graduation trip to Boracay, which she says brought her batch closer in ways that regular school days couldn’t.
“You talk to people you don’t usually talk to there. Like you’re kind of acquaintances, but in a grad trip, everybody gets closer. I’m definitely not gonna forget that,” she said.

Most of her friends are heading to the United Kingdom for college. Queenie, meanwhile, is bound for Chicago. She said she had previously considered law, but changed her mind.

“After this year, I was like, I don’t know if I can do law. I’d rather do something in the sciences. So, might as well do something in Forensic Science,” she said.
Part of the draw is also the city itself. Queenie has never been to Chicago but is eager to experience it. “I really just want to experience like the whole city,” she said.
Before heading to Chicago, however, Queenie has an important stop to make: her eldest brother Jimuel’s wedding. Jimuel and his partner Carolina Pimentel welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Clara, in the United States in November 2025.
“I’m genuinely very happy for him. I’m glad to see that he’s starting a new chapter in his life. And I really want to see my niece,” she said.
The wedding, she admits, might bring her to tears.

“I feel emotional when I see my brothers. Like, we’ll never be kids again. Kuya’s just being whatever, but he actually has responsibilities now. He has a child to take care of. It’s not so carefree anymore,” she said.

Queenie recently was an online subject as being seen in an ukay-ukay store. Queenie said she went with her friends who wanted to go and bought a few things.
"My friends invited me. They were like, oh, we're going to this like ukay-ukay place. And I was like, why not? Like, let's go. I don't mind."
“And we were playing softball that morning. So I was like, oh, might as well just come. So then we went to train. And then afterwards, we went to the ukay-ukay.”
“I bought a lot of stuff, actually.”
Queenie also revealed what’s important to her when it comes to buying clothes.
“If it fits, then it fits. If it's not, then I don't really care. As long as you're wearing something… As long as you look presentable,” she said.
