MANILA -- Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial will soon have her own dream house with a view of the majestic Mayon Volcano.
On Tuesday night via a social media post, Imperial posted photos from the groundbreaking ceremony of her future home in Bicol.
"May bahay na ako sa Bicol… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now I have my own home in my province," Imperial wrote.
The actress thanked everyone who helped her to fulfill her dreams in life.
"I’m especially thankful to ABSCBN and my Star Magic family for all the projects they trusted me with. To everyone who trusted me and continues to trust me, thank you," said Imperial, who started her showbiz career after joining "Pinoy Big Brother: 737" in 2015.
The actress also turned emotional, recalling that her latest milestone is the product of years of hard work and tears.
"Sobrang pinagpaguran ko 'to ng ilang taon... puyat, pagod, at ilang beses na iyak. Mama, para sa 'yo 'to lahat," Imperial concluded her post, as she thanked her cousin, architect Pat Marbella, and Vesta Architects, for the house's design.
The house, dubbed Solmera, was envisioned as a private retreat “where architecture, light, and water exist in quiet harmony,” according to Vesta Architects, whose post was shared by Imperial.
Designed as a vacation residence, the home features soft, curving forms inspired by the surrounding mountains, a discreet façade that opens to expansive interiors, and a layout that separates private spaces from guest areas. At its core is a beach-like pool that creates a resort atmosphere, set against natural textures and sweeping views of Mayon Volcano and Legazpi City.
"It's a hidden home — the façade is subtle, and you’ll be surprised when you walk in to discover the grand design that unfolds at the back," Vesta Architects said.
"Designed as a vacation residence, it offers a soothing contrast to urban life... A place to slow down. A retreat shaped by nature and intention."
Imperial is set to star in a new series "Blood vs Duty" which will premiere this 2026. In the series, Imperial will be working with actor Richard Gutierrez, Gerald Anderson, Bela Padilla and Baron Geisler.
