MANILA — The Manila season of Cameron Mackintosh’s "Les Misérables: The World Tour Spectacular" has announced its final extension, with performances now set to run until March 1, 2026, at The Theatre at Solaire.

Originally scheduled from Jan. 20 to Feb. 15, the international production is adding two more weeks to meet strong demand from Filipino audiences.

“From the moment we announced 'Les Misérables: The World Tour Spectacular', it was clear how deeply the show resonated with Filipino audiences,” GMG Productions CEO Carlos Candal said in a statement. “This production is a version of the show that has never been seen before on the Manila stage, and we’re thrilled that even more fans will now get the chance to experience it.”

The touring version is expanded from "Les Misérables: The Staged Concert," which ran for more than 200 record-breaking performances in London’s West End. The Manila run will feature new set and lighting designs, an international all-star cast, and a large ensemble of musicians — both Filipino and international — performing live on stage. Full casting will be announced soon.

The production is presented by Cameron Mackintosh and Nick Grace Management, with the Manila season staged by GMG Productions. Tickets for the new dates are available exclusively through TicketWorld.

Based on the Victor Hugo novel, "Les Misérables" was written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg.
