Precious’ (Dimples Romana) friend at Angels of Grace speaks frankly about Eric (Rowell Santiago) possibly becoming a rebound, but Precious clears everything up by explaining that she had no real feelings for her previous LoveList match, Brandon. This shows that matches in LoveList don’t instantly mean that they will completely work out; instead, it really boils down to the couple creating and nurturing their genuine connection.
When Precious starts to doubt her growing feelings for Eric, her friend argues that people their age shouldn’t let opportunities like this slip away, or they will just end up regretting what they could have done. Out of nowhere, the friend also mentions Precious’ late husband, pointing out that if Precious had said yes to his proposal sooner, they would have had more time together as a married couple.
Since the memory is known to be emotional for Precious, her friend quickly apologizes, though Precious actually agrees with her honesty. A few moments later, Enrico (also Rowell Santiago), who has been pretending to be Eric, reaches out to his late wife, Olive (Iza Calzado), through prayer. He asks Olive if he really needs to distance himself from his children, Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) and Oliver (Migz Casimiro). Enrico only yearns to seek Billy for forgiveness, but he also does not wish to make things difficult for her.
At the same time, Precious also prays inside the church, expressing herself to her late husband, Frederico. She then reassures him that her love remains with him forever, even as she starts to fall in love again. Regardless of her feelings of guilt, Precious eventually requests Frederico to give her a sign showing whether her affection for Eric is right.
Right on cue, a butterfly magically appears and soon lands on the shoulder of Enrico, who is standing outside the church. As the night deepens, they eat snacks together and talk, with Precious voicing her desire to know more about Eric’s family.
In return, Enrico thanks Precious for accompanying him, and they soon hold hands.
