Literal history meets a relationship’s history in this poster reveal!
Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto took the scenic route when they unveiled the official poster of their upcoming film with director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, “Always Yours, Never Mine", along the picturesque street of Calle Crisologo in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur on September 2, Wednesday.
Travelling in style, the two hopped on a kalesa ride to the site of their grand reveal. Joshua and Julia were welcomed by castmates Karen Reyes, Bob Jbeili, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, and Joy Barcoma, who is set to make her feature film debut.
After a round of playful introductions, the cast gave their one-word hunches on what awaits them underneath the black curtain, ranging from something “elegant” to a treat full of “surprises.” The lively bunch then uncovered the “Always Yours, Never Mine” official poster, erupting in gasps and excited squeals.

Mirroring the tender emotions in Joshua and Julia’s screen test, the “Always Yours, Never Mine” official poster finds their characters caught in the haze of change, surrounded by different versions of themselves. But at the center of it all, Joshua’s gaze is fixed on Julia, while she looks out into the distance.
When asked by Joy about their thoughts on the poster, Joshua was simply “very, very happy” about finally showcasing another peek at their latest project.
Meanwhile, Julia teased how the poster ties into what audiences can expect from “Always Yours, Never Mine”, saying, “Pinakagusto ko about the poster is that it kind of gives a glimpse of the story of the movie.”
From a story by Olivia M. Lamasan, Trishtan Perez, and Vanessa R. Valdez, with a screenplay by the latter, the film also stars Chanda Romero and Bianca Umali. Rounding out the cast are Ina Raymundo, Franco Laurel, Reign Parani, and Jan Silverio.
