OPM singer and songwriter Angela Ken is set to take center stage for her biggest show yet as she gears up for her solo concert, Angela Ken: Panahon Na Natin, on October 18 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.

The announcement was made through Tarsier Records' official social media pages, where the label teased the much-awaited concert.

“parating na ang panahon natin, mark your calendars.

As of this writing, ticket prices, seat plan, and fan perks have yet to be revealed.

Ticket sales will begin on July 30 via the TicketNet website and TicketNet outlets.

Tarsier Records also hinted that fans may get the chance to see Angela in person during the ticket launch, writing in its post: “See u on TicketNet Box Office?”

The announcement immediately drew excitement from fans, many of whom have been waiting for Angela's major solo concert following her successful mall busking tour earlier this year.

“labas na agad seat plan at tix price baby, para malaman ko kung kakain pa ba or no,” an excited fan commented.

Another one said, “OMG sa birthday ko talaga Angela Ken!! SO EXCITEDDDD 😭😭✨.”

“HUHUHUHUHUHU SANA MAKITA KITA MOWM”

A netizen also commended Angela's concert poster, saying: “ANG GANDAAAAAA THE VISUALS ARE VISUALING.”

ASAP singer Erik Santos also celebrated the announcement, commenting: “This is it!!!!!🙌🙌🙌.”

Angela first gained widespread recognition in 2020 with her breakout hit "Ako Naman Muna." She later signed with Tarsier Records and went on to release more popular songs including "Sikulo," "Baka Bukas," "Pwede Bang Mamaya?," "Alas-Diyes," and "Kahapon."

Last May, the singer-songwriter released her extended play (EP), Panahon, which showcased a more mature and emotionally driven side of her artistry.

Speaking about the EP, Angela said she hopes listeners would find comfort and connection through the songs.

“Connecting to the fans sa Panahon EP, kasi ang goal ng EP is to show you the window that love transcends through time and season,” she said. “Sana maging warm embrace ang bawat liriko, maging salamin siya ng kung anong nararanasan niyo and maging pintuan din na maraming possibilities nangyayari sa tamang panahon.”

In an earlier interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Angela also reflected on one of her biggest realizations after meeting supporters through busking sessions and live events.

“Na marami palang nagmamahal kay Angela. Aside from my family, even di ko kamag-anak, hindi ko kadugo, marami pala nagmamahal kay Angela. Doon pa lang panalo na ako. Doon pa lang lahat ng wishes ko sa mga susunod ko pa nabirthdays parang natupad na,” she shared.
