As the star of the uniquely sexy barkada film Saving Cherry, Barbie Forteza plays the titular role of a virgin who unleashes her wild side after discovering that her fiancé is cheating on her. She enlists the help of her bridesmaids (played by AC Bonifacio, Mika Salamanca, Mikee Quintos, and Sassa Gurl) as they go on a wild ride around town in order for her to gain her power back by exploring a different side of herself. During the film’s presscon, the Saving Cherry cast shared what their concept of a dream wedding is in real life.
Barbie Forteza
“I want to get married in (Las) Vegas in Vera Wang. Para may divorce.”
AC Bonifacio
“I grew up with a very big family and being around the people I love talaga. I just want all my loved ones to be there — from Canada, from here, all the families that I’ve grown into. But siguro as long as it’s a good husband, a good guy, and my family is there, I’m good. Basta puwede akong sumayaw, good music, good food. Masaya na po ako dun. I’m not that far into my life yet (laughs).”
Mika Salamanca
“Sa ngayon, ang gusto ko na wedding is private po talaga. Ayoko ng may ibang tao. Yung mga super close ko lang po talaga yung nasa wedding ko na yun kung kailangan na walang makakaalam. Ganun yung gusto kong wedding.”
Mikee Quintos
“I think my dream wedding would be a destination wedding. But my real reason I think would be to keep it intimate din. I’ve always wanted something simple. Kasi yung pinagdadasal ko naman asawa muna bago yung kasal di ba? (laughs). So pag dumating yun, sana gusto din niya yung simple lang. Because I believe na yung if you keep things private, mas mapapahalagahan.”
Sassa Gurl
“Pangarap ko rin naman na ikasal. First, since nga sa Philippines hindi pa ako puwede ikasal, so pangarap na lang talaga ito lahat. Feel ko ang dream wedding ko hindi naman talaga normal, or like, hindi common sa amin na mag-dream talaga ng wedding, I think a simple wedding will do. Basta mahal ko lang talaga yung papakasalan ko.”
