Filipino fans have something to treasure as Bruno Mars is coming to the Philippines.

The 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter is bringing his highly anticipated The Romantic Tour to the country on May 15 and 16, 2027 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, giving Filipino fans another chance to experience one of pop music’s biggest performers live.

Live Nation Philippines announced Bruno’s upcoming shows on its official social media accounts earlier this week, adding the country to the Asian leg of his massive world tour.

With Bruno’s anticipated visit, here are five reasons why Filipino fans should make sure they do not miss The Romantic Tour:

1. Bruno is returning to the Philippines after almost four years

For Filipino fans who have been waiting to see Bruno live again and for the first time, The Romantic Tour marks his much-anticipated return to the Philippines after almost four years.

Bruno last performed in the country at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on June 24 and 25, 2023.

His relationship with Filipino fans, however, goes much further back.

The singer-songwriter first visited the country in April 2011 for shows in Manila and Cebu during his early touring years. He returned in March 2014 for the Moonshine Jungle World Tour, performing at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In May 2018, Bruno was back in Manila for his 24K Magic World Tour, where he held two sold-out shows at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Now, Bruno is returning for another major concert in the country, and the demand for his latest tour has already shown just how many fans want to see him again.

The Romantic Tour recorded the largest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation history across North America, Europe, and the UK, while also setting a new Ticketmaster record after selling 2.1 million tickets in a single day.

Aside from the Philippines, Bruno is also scheduled to bring the tour to other Asian destinations, including Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

2. Filipino fans will hear songs from ‘The Romantic’ album live for the first time

The Philippine shows will also give fans the chance to experience Bruno’s newest music live as he takes songs from his fourth solo album, The Romantic, to the stage.

The album marked the biggest debut of his career, opening at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It became his first album to debut at the top of the chart and his second No. 1 album after Unorthodox Jukebox, more than a decade after the latter’s release.

The Romantic also reached No. 1 on Apple’s Global Album Chart, Spotify’s Global Album Chart, and Spotify’s Top US Album Chart.

The album includes some of Bruno’s recent hits, including “Risk It All,” “I Just Might,” “On My Soul,” “Cha Cha Cha,” and “God Was Showing Off.”

Fans not only can hear the songs, but also sing along with Bruno.

3. Bruno is especially excited to celebrate with his fellow Filipinos

There is another reason why Bruno’s Philippine stop feels different from an ordinary tour date.

Born Peter Gene Hernandez to a Filipina mother and father of Jewish and Puerto Rican descent in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bruno has long been open about his Filipino roots and his connection to the country.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Bruno shared just how excited he is to finally bring The Romantic Tour to the Philippines and celebrate with his fellow Filipinos.

“So excited,” he said. “Obviously, my history growing up in Hawaii and my Filipino family. Being able to perform out there is like a dream come true.”

For Filipino fans, the feeling is likely to be mutual. Beyond the music and spectacle, the concert will be an opportunity to welcome Bruno back to a country that has embraced him throughout his career and where his own family roots make the homecoming even more meaningful.

4. Bruno will bring his Silk Sonic duo Anderson .Paak as a guest performer

The concert will have another major draw for music fans as Bruno will be joined by his Silk Sonic collaborator Anderson .Paak, who will perform as DJ Pee .Wee.

A nine-time Grammy Award winner, Anderson .Paak has built an acclaimed career both as a solo artist and as one-half of the Silk Sonic duo.

The two have created several hits together, including “Leave the Door Open,” “Blast Off,” “Fly As Me,” and “Smoking out the Window.”

With Anderson .Paak also joining the Philippine stop, fans can expect even more musical energy when the two Grammy-winning artists bring their respective sounds to the stage.

5. Bruno may have a Filipino song in store for his homecoming

Of course, there is one more thing Filipino fans would love to see on his concert: Bruno singing a Filipino song.

During his interview with ABS-CBN News, he was asked if he would give in to the request of his kababayans for him to sing a Filipino song, his answer was short but enough to get fans excited.

“It’s coming!” Bruno said. “It’s coming. It has to.”

While Bruno did not confirm whether a Filipino song will actually make it to the concert setlist, his response certainly leaves room for the possibility and gives Filipino fans something extra to look forward to when The Romantic Tour arrives in the country.

Whether that surprise happens or not, the concert is already expected to deliver a two-hour show featuring an incredible 25-song setlist, including tracks from his new album and fan favorites such as “Just the Way You Are,” “That’s What I Like,” “Marry You,” “Die with a Smile,” and more.

As of now, fans can still sign up for the artist presale through www.BrunoMars.com.

Those who successfully register for the artist presale can purchase tickets on September 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

The Live Nation Presale will also begin on September 11 at 2:00 p.m. and will run until 11:59 p.m. Fans must first create an account and log in through www.livenation.ph to access the presale.

General onsale begins on September 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. via Ticketmaster.ph.

With Bruno finally coming home to the Philippines, Filipino fans now have dates to look forward to and prepare to sing, dance, celebrate, and make new memories with one of the world’s biggest pop stars.
