The duo first captured widespread attention on Baus Rufo’s podcast Kaya Pa Ba? when Macoy Dubs joined as a guest last August. Their episode quickly went viral, with fans drawn to their lively discussion of memorable pop culture moments in the Philippines, sparking waves of nostalgia and making listeners feel like they were reliving the best bits of local entertainment together.

Riding the wave of their viral chemistry, Dogshow Divas officially launched less than a month later last September 17 with their pilot episode Heto Na Naman Tayo on YouTube. Baus and Macoy quickly won over listeners with their playful takes on pop culture, relatable Filipino humor, and spontaneous, meme-worthy moments that kept fans coming back for more.

“Due to insistent public harassment, ito na ginawa na namin ang podcast. Anong logo ang napili? And more importantly, anong existential kabalbalan na naman ang aming pinag-usapan? Here we gow,” they said in their pilot episode.

Some of their trending episodes covered viral debates like the correct pronunciation of Ely Buendia’s name, humorous commentary on Philippine regions, and corporate office stories, often sprinkled with their use of deep and playful vocabulary that adds a unique twist to each discussion.
