Nadine Lustre reflected on why she prefers being in her 30s, sharing that she now feels more grounded, self-aware, and mindful compared to when she was in her 20s.
"My 20s were great but I prefer my 30s. I really prefer [it], because now, my 30s kasi ngayon parang feeling ko mas calm ako. I know myself better. I know what I want, what I don't want," she said in an interview with Bianca Gonzalez on the Paano Ba 'To?! podcast.
The actress added that getting older has also taught her to prioritize herself and become more aware of her personal limits.
"I have more time for myself. I have the courage to say no. I know my body's limits physically. Also, financially, I know my limits. Before kasi sige gastos lang, ganyan, labas tayo, go somewhere. Travel," she stated.
Nadine said she has also become more mindful and appreciative of the people in her life.
"Now I am more mindful of things. Parang mas wiser I would say with a lot of different things tapos I am more appreciative of people now," she shared.
She admitted that in the past, she tended to focus more on the people she regularly saw, especially when life became busy.
"Before kasi I only care about people that I would see all the time. Parang out of sight, out of mind. But not totally. It's just that parang there were so many things going on na parang hindi ko naiisip 'yung ibang tao 'pag hindi ko sila nakikita," she remarked.
