Kris Aquino is back in the editing room, and this time, she’s bringing fried chicken, family values, dramatic lighting, and even a Zumba squad to the job.

Netflix Philippines dropped the second episode of its three-part campaign on August 14, once again putting Kris in the role of C.H.I.K.A or Chief Head of Insight and Kontent Analysis.

If the first episode gave viewers a taste of Kris’ unmistakable personality, Episode 2 turned the Queen of All Media into an even more hands-on boss.

"today I learned sobrang productive pa rin ni C.H.I.K.A. Kris tuwing lunch break! 😍 she’s giving more, more, more of her signature style for my local faves in Episode 2!” the reel’s caption read.

The episode begins with Kris visiting Earljohn during lunch, arriving with a bag of fried chicken as a little treat with the hardworking editor. After lunch, the pair gets back to work, going through some of Netflix Philippines’ local offerings.

Their first assignment is ABS-CBN’s primetime series Someone, Someday, led by Multimedia Prince James Reid and Asia's Superstar Kathryn Bernardo. Kris watches a scene and quickly spots one word she isn't particularly fond of.

“Puwede naman i-express ang sarili without using bad words,” she tells Earljohn, encouraging him to remove the “mean” word from the scene.

Once her suggestion is followed, Kris approves. “Much, much better. May family values pero colorful.”

But Kris’s job doesn't stop at dialogue. For the MMFF 2025 film Rekonek, she and Earljohn apparently decide that the cast needs better Wi-Fi.

“You're good,” Kris tells him after the technical adjustment.

Next up is Love You So Bad, where Kris focuses on the mood of the scene.

She asks Earljohn to tweak the lighting, resulting in a darker setup featuring Dustin Yu, Bianca De Vera, and Will Ashley.

“Ayan, now, I can feel the emotion. You are so bongga!” Kris exclaims, clearly pleased with the result.

Then comes perhaps the most "Kris Aquino" solution of them all.

While analyzing Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo's UnMarry, Kris sees Angelica crying and immediately feels for her. “My goodness. Hiwalayan? Kawawa naman si Angge. Can we cheer her up a bit?”

Earljohn takes the request, bringing in a group of women in colorful, figure-hugging outfits to perform Zumba behind the heartbroken Angelica. The result? A crying character suddenly surrounded by an unexpected fitness dance number.

“I'm so happy,” Kris declares.

And, naturally, Kris ends the episode with her official stamp of approval.

“I am your C.H.I.K.A, Kris Aquino, and these local titles are Kris Aquino approved. Kaya watch na on Netflix,” she says.

But the real plot twist comes at the very end.

The episode takes a hilarious turn as Kris appears to reference one of her most recognizable viral moments: her famous earthquake reaction that became a meme.

“Oh my gosh. Yeah, lumilindol. Mave-vertigo na ako. What's this? Nawalan pa ng kuryente? Hay, nako. Let's just go home,” she says before the reel comes to an end.

The episode quickly became another dose of nostalgia and comedy for fans who have missed Kris’s signature delivery.

“A little too funny, a little too real. But the plot twist is that behind all the wit, memes, and iconic one-liners is someone with so much depth. Kris will make you laugh, then casually say something that makes you rethink your life. 😅😭,” Kris’s lawyer friend Atty. Gideon Peña wrote in the comments.

“ANG CUTEEEE! WE MISSED YOU, QUEEN! 🫶🏼,” one fan also commented.

“Love love Kris talaga! Only you can do this 👏👏👏,” another wrote.

Kris first made her highly anticipated return to the spotlight through the campaign's first episode, released on August 7, marking her first major on-screen appearance after battling multiple autoimmune diseases for years.

The third and final episode of Netflix Philippines' three-part promotional campaign is set to drop on August 20.
