Actress Iza Calzado’s daughter Deia Amihan recently showcased her love for dancing.
In a video shared on Iza’s social media page, the proud mom gave followers a glimpse of Deia enjoying a dance class with her cousin, Sadie, daughter of actress Bianca King, at a dance center in Alabang.
“Earlier this year, Deia got to watch me dance onstage with my G-Force family! Since then, we’ve been meaning to get her into Little Force classes, but our schedules could never quite align. So happy that @gdc_alabang now has a regular weekday class where our little ones can have fun on the dance floor every week. Ang saya din ng energy na bigay ni Teacher @gforce_ish sa kids! Ang galing! ❤️,” Iza shared.
For Iza, however, seeing her daughter dance brought more than just a proud-mom moment, but also reminded her of her late father and the joy he must have felt watching her dance when she was a child.
“Watching Deia dance and enjoy every moment brings so many layers of pride and joy to my heart. 🥹 I find myself thinking about my own father and how happy he must have been watching me dance as a child. And how much prouder he would have been watching his granddaughter do the same if he were still here. Ang daming feelings! ❤️🥹,” she added.
Beyond seeing Deia follow in her footsteps, Iza said she was simply grateful that her daughter was having fun, making friends, and enjoying the experience.
“But more than anything, I’m just so happy Deia gets to dance, have fun with her cousin Sadie, make new friends like her classmate Lara, and meet so many more amazing kids along the way,” she expressed.
Concluding her post, Iza hoped to bring joy to her fans and followers as she shared small updates about Deia and her life as a proud mom.
“Ang lakas maka-good vibes! 😎 Hope this video brings a little sunshine to your Sunday and makes it feel a little less gloomy. ☀️❤️,” she said.

Deia is Iza’s daughter with her husband, British-American businessman Ben Wintle. The couple welcomed their daughter in January 2023.
As Deia continues to grow, Iza has also opened up about how becoming a mother has changed the way she approaches her life and career as an actress.
In an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Iza shared that although she has not been on set as often as she would like, motherhood has given her a deeper understanding of the roles she plays.
“Well, I haven’t been on set as often as I would like to be. But the few times that I have been privileged enough to step on set playing mother roles, ano talaga, best acting workshop for me ang motherhood. Because it has really deepened my understanding of motherhood, of love, and the journey,“ she said.

For Iza, motherhood has become an ongoing process of learning and discovering new parts of herself.
“It’s a continuous discovery. Again, that I am able to love this much, and sacrifice as much as I have for Deia and the family, the Iza back then was not the same person. I’m not the same person. What I discovered is I am really a student of life. But even more so now. Talagang bukas na bukas ako at gustong gusto ko matuto because I want to be better for Deia and for myself, of course,” she added.
