Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, popularly known as FranSeth, shared that it is their dream to eventually lead a primetime series together.
The tandem, who have previously been part of Kapamilya primetime projects such as Dirty Linen and Sins of the Father, shared with PUSH ABS-CBN that they are looking forward to the possibility of taking on a bigger challenge of leading their own when the right opportunity comes.
“Dream po namin ’yun,” Seth said.
“Well, kung magkaroon ng pagkakataon... sobrang we will give it our hundred percent," he added, a sentiment echoed by Francine.
The pair also hopes that their future project will allow them to explore roles that are different from what audiences have seen from them before.
Asked about their dream roles, Francine said they are hoping for something that would challenge them both and help them grow as actors, individually and as a tandem.
“Siguro, something new for us. ’Yung talagang macha-challenge kami in a way na makaka-help din sa amin mag-grow together and individually. Siguro mas makakapagbigay kami ng more than sa usual na nakikita sa amin, something like that,” she said.
While they continue to look forward to their primetime dream, FranSeth has already built a strong partnership through various projects. Earlier this year, the tandem headlined the romantic-comedy film She Who Must Not Be Named, adding another big-screen project to their growing list of collaborations.
As Star Magic artists, Francine and Seth have also learned valuable lessons throughout their respective journeys in the industry.
For Francine, one of the most important lessons she has picked up from the premiere talent management arm is the importance of being considerate toward the people she works with.
“Honestly, parang lahat naman po ng journey is a lesson. Pero ’yung hindi ko tinatanggal na aral na napulot ko is ’yung maging considerate ka sa mga nakakasama mo. Kasi kapag may consideration ka, nandoon na rin ’yung respeto and ’yung pag-respeto mo rin sa trabahong ginagawa niyo kahit ano pa ’yan,” she shared.
Seth, meanwhile, emphasized the importance of allowing other people to contribute to one’s growth.
“Siguro buong lesson lang naman dito ay let people help you to grow. Kasi sa mundo na meron kami, hindi lang po kaming dalawa, ’yung iba rin po naming kapatid sa Star Magic, may kaniya-kaniya [kaming] problema. At minsan nagkakaroon [kami] ng doubt sa sarili... ang natutunan ko dito sa pamilya ng Star Magic ay let people help you to grow. Huwag mong isara [ang sarili mo]. Marami silang ituturo sa’yo and always listen. Be happy lang palagi,” he shared.
“Ang saya ng pamilyang ito,” he added.
For now, fans can look forward to seeing FranSeth together once again in their upcoming iWant micro-drama, A Cake to Remember, which premieres August 28.
Presented by ABS-CBN Studios and JRB Creative Productions, the micro-drama is directed by Emerald Silvestre.
