Social media personality Awra Briguela and her friends held a grocery drive to raise donations for jeepney drivers. In her Instagram post, she shared a glimpse of the groceries they collected, from packing the items to giving them to the drivers.
Awra is the latest celebrity to hold a grocery drive. Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu previously gave away groceries and fuel to jeepney drivers for her birthday.

“There’s something powerful about shared intentions. Doing this with friends who have the same principles as me reminded me that helping doesn’t have to be grand it just has to be genuine,” Awra wrote.
In the video she shared, Awra and her friends were seen handing out the grocery packs to the drivers who were on duty along the streets of Manila.
“From preparing and packing groceries in my own place, to knowing that these will go to jeepney drivers who continue to work hard despite everything they’re facing, every moment felt purposeful,” she added.
She expressed her gratitude to everyone who made the grocery drive possible, from the donations that they received down to those who gave their time to help out.
“This is our small way of giving back, and a reminder that even in uncertain times, kindness will always have a place,” she expressed.

Awra expressed that she is grateful for all the help that they received throughout the donation drive.
“What we did may seem small, but it was built on shared effort, genuine intention, and a collective desire to help. May God bless you all for the goodness you’ve shared not just today, but in the lives you’ve touched,” Awra ended.
