Kapamilya actress Nikki Valdez is celebrating her 28th year in the entertainment industry. The Star Magic talent took to her Instagram account to recall the almost three decades that she has been working as an actress.
Nikki started out as a member of the fourth batch of the Star Circle talents –– now known as Star Magic. She has since remained a Kapamilya artist throughout her career.

“On this very day, 28 years ago, Star Circle Batch 4 was launched on the ASAP stage (Studio 3 of the old ABSCBN building) and I am proud to say I was one of the 14 showbiz hopefuls from that group,” she recalled.
The Kapamilya star shared some throwback photos from her humble beginnings in her post. She also expressed how the journey has been for her in the past 28 years and how she was able to work with some of the industry’s best talents.
“It's been quite a journey for me — I've had the privilege to work with so many great actors I only saw on TV and directors whose names I only saw on shows and movies I watched,” she shared.
“Done quite a few roles I never thought I could, launched an album (yes, singer yarrrrrn?!), did a few musicals (not known to many, I started with theater) and travelled to some parts of the world I've only dreamt of and seen on post cards and text books,” she added.
Nikki maintained that she will always be grateful for the opportunity that she has been given as she knows how hard it is to remain in the challenging showbiz industry. She remained humble, knowing that her hard work and professionalism became the keys to her longevity.

“I will never forget to celebrate this day because in this industry where no one is indispensable, it is a beautiful reminder that patience, professionalism, the right attitude towards co- workers and hard work really goes a long way and that I am still here... For that, I will always, ALWAYS be grateful,” she ended.
