Actress and celebrity mom Kylie Padilla poured her love into a touching birthday note for her younger son, Axl, as he celebrated his 6th birthday.
On Instagram, Kylie posted a short clip of themselves happily dancing together, a carefree moment filled with smiles and quick little steps. Alongside it, she wrote: “My little old soul happy happy birthday. Mahal na mahal ka namin 🙏🏻”
Axl is Kylie’s son with estranged husband, actor Aljur Abrenica. They also share another older child, Alas Joaquin.
Kylie later moved to Instagram Stories to share a longer and more emotional letter for Axl, recalling how his birth tested her strength and how his presence has filled their lives with light.
“Hi my love. My little burst of energy. Having to survive your birth was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But then I am reminded of the saying 'Nothing ever worth it in this world comes easy' and that quote is quite right.”
Kylie recalled her son’s great character, saying that he has the “most magnetic soul” and the “most empathetic heart.”
“You have the most magnetic soul. Sometimes I think you have a soul even older than mine. You are the silliest little rascal but you have the most empathetic heart and you are oh so charming.

She also described him as a silly yet remarkably empathetic boy whose charm wins people over in just a few minutes.
“You manage to make impressions and charm people after just moments of being with them. And your sense of humor, makes us all burst into laughter even when the mood is supposed to be serious. You are a little rainbow and I am so blessed to witness all your colors my dear Axl. Mahal na mahal ka namin. Please never ever change, keep that spark in your heart burning.”
She ended it with a tender reminder of her love, saying, “Happy happy birthday. Mama loves you.”
Comments from friends and netizens soon followed, greeting Axl with messages full of affection and joy.
“Happy birthday, Axl! You are a blessing your mama’s never stop being grateful for. Continue to give us happiness as well as ur mom and kuya. Big boy na talaga 🥹💙,” one wrote.
“Happy birthday, Axxey!! We love you soo muchhh 🙆🏻♀️,” another added.
The celebration did not end with words alone. Kylie also treated her son to a day that looked every bit as playful as his personality. On her Instagram stories, Kylie shared a series of clips of their celebration. One clip showed Axl leaning over and blowing his birthday cake.
Next, Kylie captured Axl and his kuya Alas running through a colorful kiddie playground. They dove into a ball pit and played around on inflatables and slides. At one moment, Axl sat on a virtual reality ride.
Kylie has always been open to showing how proud she is of her sons. Her social media offers glimpses of their tight bond.
“They are sweet everyday but I caught the sweetness today. 🥹💕,” she wrote in one post.
